I was reading a blog article by Linda Tucci, about how "CIOs weigh use of social media against security concerns." One of the comments that really caught my attention was that while business could see the business need (of social media) they were still disallowing the use of social media. As a hard core social media marketer, I have great challenges with this, and not just because it leaves less time to read my posts. Even though I come from an IT background and can understand the underlying security need, I still see the need for social media access.
